About the Role
The New Testament Church of God Jamaica is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Accounting Clerk. This role will support the organization's finance function through the accurate recording, processing, and maintenance of accounting information. The successful candidate will join a team focused on serving God, building people, and transforming nations.
Responsibilities
Support the finance function through accurate recording, processing and maintenance of accounting information.
Requirements
Associate Degree in Accounting or related discipline. At least two (2) years' experience in Accounting. Sound knowledge of general accounting procedures. Sound knowledge of payroll systems and calculations, statutory deductions and filing of returns via Tax Administration of Jamaica’s online platform. Sound knowledge of accounts receivables and payables. Sound knowledge of SAGE 50 Peachtree accounting software. Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Access, Word, Excel). Strong communication skills.
