Pastry Cook

ROK Hotel Kingston, a Tapestry Collection by Hilton, is seeking a skilled and passionate Pastry Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential for creating high-quality dessert experiences across our various dining venues. The successful candidate will be responsible for the preparation of dessert items catering to restaurants, banquets, special events, and room service. You will work closely with other kitchen staff to maintain the high standards of our brand, ensuring every item prepared adheres to standardized recipes, portion controls, and specific presentation guidelines. Additionally, the role demands a strong commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment in compliance with all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.

Assist in the preparation of dessert items for restaurants, banquets, special events, and room service. Follow standardized recipes, portion controls, and presentation guidelines. Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations. Support other kitchen operations as required and work collaboratively with culinary team members.

At least 3 years of related progressive experience or a culinary graduate with at least 3 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related field. Knowledge of F&B preparation techniques. Familiarity with health department rules and regulations. Understanding of liquor laws and regulations.
