Teaching and Non-Academic Staff

The Board of Management of the Anchovy High School requires experienced graduate trained teachers to fill the following teaching vacancies: Industrial Technology (Grades 7-9), Chemistry/Biology, Agricultural Science, and Mechanical Engineering. We also require non-academic staff: Assistant Bursar, System Administrator, Senior Librarian Assistant, Clerical Assistant, and Watchman/Security Guard.

Teaching students, managing administrative accounts, system administration, library operations, clerical support, and security duties.

For Teachers: Min. Level 3 NCTVET General Industrial Tech required for Industrial Technology. For Assistant Bursar: Bachelor’s Or ASc/Diploma in Accounting/Finance, or ACCA/CAT Level 1-3. Min. 2-3 years accounting experience. For System Administrator: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, IT, or MIS. Min. 2-3 years in network/server administration & hardware maintenance. For Senior Librarian Assistant: Diploma/ASc in Library Studies + 4 CXC/CSEC passes (inc. English). Min. 2 years experience. For Clerical Assistant: 4 CXC/CSEC passes (inc. English and Math/Accounts). Min. 1-2 years office experience. For Watchman/Security Guard: Secondary school education; PSRA registration / NVQJ Level 1 preferred. Min. 1 year experience.
