Training Assistant

The Training Assistant supports the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programmes to promote service excellence and uphold operational standards. Working closely with the Training and Development Coordinators and department managers, the role involves identifying training needs, developing tailored training plans, and ensuring employees acquire the necessary skills, knowledge, and competencies to deliver an exceptional guest experience.

Support the design, implementation, and evaluation of employee training programmes. Identify training needs. Develop tailored training plans. Coordinate and deliver new hire orientation and induction programs. Engage and support employees across various departments. Assess training needs and design structured, effective training and onboarding plans.

Diploma or Degree in Human Resource Management, Training and Development, Education, Hospitality Management, or a related field. At least 1-2 years’ experience in training, learning and development, or a similar role. Strong knowledge of training methodologies, facilitation techniques, and adult learning principles. Experience coordinating and delivering new hire orientation and induction programs. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational, coordination, and planning skills with keen attention to detail. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic training management systems. Ability to assess training needs and design structured, effective training and onboarding plans. Capacity to engage and support employees across various departments. Hospitality industry experience would be an asset.
