Dental Assistant with Expanded Duties

Paediatric and Family Dentistry is seeking a motivated, reliable and caring individual to join our team as a Dental Assistant with expanded duties. This role is crucial for maintaining our standard of gentle dental care from birth, ensuring our young patients and their families have healthy smiles and brighter futures. As part of our clinical team, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the practice, supporting dental procedures and managing patient interactions in a professional yet welcoming environment.

Assist the dentist during patient treatment, Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments, Provide chairside support and ensure infection control protocols are followed, Take and process dental x-rays (training provided if needed), Manage appointment schedules and patient flow, Provide patient education and support (including children and families), Assist with front desk and general office duties as required

High school diploma (required), Dental assisting certification or relevant experience (preferred), Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, Ability to work well with children and families, A caring, positive attitude and strong work ethic
