Chef / Assistant Chef

A Great Taste Restaurant, situated on Windward Road in Kingston, is urgently seeking a Chef or Assistant Chef for immediate hire. This is a primary role within the restaurant's culinary team, requiring a professional who is capable of preparing a wide range of local dishes and, where possible, international cuisine. The candidate will be responsible for the professional use and management of various kitchen equipment and must possess established kitchen management skills. The restaurant emphasizes a high-pressure but professional environment where punctuality and teamwork are paramount. Candidates should be able to work on their own initiative while also being capable of following clear instructions from management. This position is ideal for someone trained at HEART or another well-established institution, as relevant certifications are required. Additionally, having baking experience is considered a significant plus for this role.
