About the Role
Join Jamaica Waste Industries Ltd. and be part of a dynamic team that keeps Jamaica clean and moving. We are seeking a reliable, organized and proactive Dispatcher to coordinate our daily waste collection operations.
Responsibilities
Coordinate daily waste collection routes and schedules Assign and monitor drivers, helpers and trucks Track fleet movements and ensure timely collections Communicate with drivers, customers and operations team throughout the day Handle service requests and resolve issues promptly Maintain accurate records of dispatch and collection activities Support the Operations Manager with daily reporting
Requirements
Previous experience in a dispatch or logistics role (preferably in waste management, transportation or a similar field) Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Computer literacy (Microsoft Office, Excel) Good problem-solving and decision-making skills Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays when needed Valid driver's licence is an asset
