Principal

Aboukir High School, located in Cave Valley P.O., St. Ann, is inviting applications from suitably qualified persons for the position of Principal. This is a senior leadership role that requires an individual with strong management, leadership, and educational acumen. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the institution towards academic excellence, manage human and administrative resources, and oversee curriculum implementation effectively. The appointment is effective as of January 1, 2027.

Lead and manage the school's administrative and educational operations, Implement curriculum and educational programs, Manage school human resources, Ensure compliance with the Education Act and Regulations, Articulate and drive a vision of achieving academic excellence.

Applicant must be a registered trained teacher. Applicant must have at least three (3) years of approved teaching service. Desirable assets include: Postgraduate degree in Educational Leadership, Educational Administration, or related field; Certification for Principalship from the National College for Educational Leadership (NCEL); Knowledge of the Education Act and Regulation, Administration, and Protection Act; Experience in curriculum development, adaptation and implementation; Knowledge and experience in ICT and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET); At least three (3) years' experience in a similar capacity or in a senior leadership position.

Salary Grade II: $7,344,688 to $9,401,821 per annum.
